Weaning doesn’t have to feel like a battle! This guide will give you the tools to gently and intentionally say goodbye to the boob (or bottle!) day or night, without the overwhelm. **The Weaning Bible is currently getting a glow-up, which you will automatically receive once live!

For parents who want to gently wean some (or all!) feeds while balancing their kid’s needs

Believe it or not you CAN wean in a way that feels really, bloody good.

So often though, I speak to parents who…

👉Want to wean but feel stuck because feeding is the only way their baby will fall asleep right now.

👉Are worried that there’s no real way to make the change respectfully.

👉Feel guilty even thinking about weaning, even though they’re beyond touched out.

👉Have tried to cut back, but when they do…their baby acts like they’ve never been fed in their life.

👉Keep waiting for the “right time” but have no clue when (or if) that time will come.

Weaning doesn’t come at the cost of connection.

If you want to wean and keep your attachment relationship top priority, The Weaning Bible is for you.

Here’s why you’ll love this straight to the point & easy to digest course to help you on your responsive weaning journey (from someone who's helped hundreds of parents wean!)

NO. 1

You’re looking for help from someone who actually respects your feeding relationship. (Hi, it’s me!) No rigid, arbitrary rules, no “just cut them off” or “you have to leave for the weekend!” vibes here.

NO. 2

You’re bloody tired and don’t have time for fluff. You want straight-to-the-point, practical guidance - not an overwhelming hours long deep dive into every weaning theory ever.

NO. 3

Weaning isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation (nothing is when it comes to babies and parenting!) You want tools that actually work for your kiddo and your circumstances.

NO. 4

Your confidence during this process matters. When you know what to expect (and what to do when things get wobbly - because they will!😉), weaning feels a whole lot more predictable and safe for both of you.

What age is this for?

Feeding overnight and during the day is super normal and expected within the first 12 months (and beyond!), with calories being really important for growth and development. If you feel the need to make some changes, this guide can then come in for kids 12 months plus (although prep can take 4 weeks, so if your baby is slightly under then that can work really well, too)!.

Will weaning improve my baby's sleep?

Short answer: maybe, long answer: it depends! If reducing the amount of overnight wakes is your main reason for wanting to wean, It's important to know that removing feeds isn't a guaranteed way to improve sleep patterns. For some kids it can really help, and for others they still need support because of their temperament, nervous system or other sleep barriers that might be in play.

What methods do you use? Will there be crying?

Whilst my approach is always gentle & responsive, there will likely be some big feelings because we're changing a really loved and familiar pattern. Weaning is hard! We don't need to be afraid of tears, but we can do the work to get more comfortable sitting with and supporting our kids through their big feelings. The guide has everything you need to consider, while moving at your kid's individual pace!

When I night weaned Ted 4 years ago, I had no idea what I was doing

My sensitive, cautious, sensory-seeking, and very persistent toddler was not ready to stop feeding overnight, and it showed.

We started anyway and boy… it was messy 😩

Tears, trial and error, and so much self-doubt. Was I doing it right? Was I confusing him? Was it gentle enough? Was I damaging him?

We got through it and by 21 months he was fully weaned, but looking back do you know what I desperately wish I had?

A results driven but attachment-based guide that didn’t just tell me what to do, it helped me navigate how to do it - without second-guessing every step.

I hadn't found that guide so I created it for you. The Weaning Bible exists so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way.

In case we haven’t met properly - hi, I’m Hannah 👋🏻! I’m a Specialist and Kin Postpartum Founder.

I’m also a mum of two, and have now fully weaned 2 kids (with very different temperaments!).

I trained as a Baby Led Sleep & Wellbeing Specialist with Isla Grace (then added some further education in things like Neuroprotective Developmental Care & the nervous system), and my main goal is to empower you to parent the way YOU want to - responsive and fully connected.

Weaning is a huge transition for you and your kiddo. And frankly, the end of our feeding journeys don’t generally get the care and respect they deserve.

The Weaning Bible not only covers the how, but also the sleep and emotional considerations that come into play, making weaning as smooth as possible while still respecting your attachment relationship.
