For the parents who want to shift feeds respectfully and gently

'It was amazing having support and a little extra push to get the ball rolling with weaning after contemplating it for so long and now here we are fully night weaned in a little over 5 weeks, never could have imagined!'
〜 Want to wean but feel stuck because feeding is the only way your baby will fall asleep right now.
〜 Are worried that there’s no real way to make the change respectfully.
〜 Feel guilty even thinking about weaning, even though you're beyond touched out.
〜 Have tried to cut back, but when you do your baby acts like they’ve never been fed in their life.
〜 Keep waiting for the “right time” but have no clue when (or if) that time will come.
My sensitive, cautious, sensory-seeking, and very persistent toddler was not ready to stop feeding overnight, and it showed.
We started anyway and it was messy and hard 😔
Tears, trial and error, and so much self-doubt. Was I doing it right? Was I confusing him? Was it gentle enough? Was I damaging our relationship?
Somehow, we got through it. By 21 months he was fully weaned, but it came with battle scars for both of us.
Looking back, do you know what I desperately wish I had?
A clear, compassionate, evidence-based guide that didn’t just tell me what to do, but helped me navigate how to do it - without second-guessing every step.
That’s exactly why I created Night Weaning Group Coaching - so you don’t have to figure it out the hard way.
In case we haven’t met properly - hi, I’m Hannah! I’m a sleep coach and the Founder of Kin Postpartum Services.
I’m also a mum of two, and have been there.
I trained as a Baby Led Sleep & Wellbeing Specialist with Isla Grace, and I have made it my mission to empower parents like you to trust your instincts and parent like the (responsive) boss that you are.
〜 You’re looking for help from someone who actually respects your feeding relationship. (It’s me!) No strict rules, no “just cut them off” or “you have to leave for the weekend!” vibes here.
〜 You’re bloody tired and don’t have time for fluff. You want straight-to-the-point, practical guidance - not an overwhelming hours long deep dive into every weaning theory ever.
〜 Weaning isn’t a one-size-fits-all situation (nothing is when it comes to babies and parenting!) You want tools that actually work for your baby and your circumstances.
〜 Your confidence during this process matters. When you know what to expect (and what to do when things get wobbly - because they will!😉) Weaning feels a whole lot smoother for both of you.

"We made progress during the 5 week coaching but then had to break for about 6 weeks because of illness/teething/travel.
When we finally got back to it, though, we managed it in just a few days, with minimum drama. Now I've managed to fully wean her too, about a month later, and I feel very much at peace with the way we did it.
I was really impressed by the materials and the extent of support you offered during the coaching. Genuinely good value for money, and such a kind, understanding environment. I learned a lot and would definitely recommend you to others."

The answers to your questions!
Night feeds are super normal and expected within the first 12 months (and beyond!), with night weaning tending to get easier the older kids are which is why this course is open for kids 12 months plus.
Sometimes yes, sometimes no! If reducing the amount of overnight wakes is your main reason for wanting to night wean, It's important to know that removing feeds isn't a guaranteed way to improve sleep patterns.
Change can be hard for kids! If you're moving out of routine mid-coaching and going somewhere new, this can add an extra challenge but it's not impossible. You may choose to pop a pause on while away, or have a clear boundary that feeding on holidays is different to weaning at home. Your child's temperament is going to be a big factor here, but it is ultimately your decision whether you think this might be too disruptive.
They sure will! Once the live is over, it will be uploaded to the course content so you can hop in and catch up later.
Group coaching is for you if:
You would like four weeks of support for less than the price of a single consult
You want the tools to balance your child's needs with your own, in a way that respects developmental readiness and individual timelines
You want to build out your village and make some new mum friends
You want to lean into the shared knowledge and experiences of a bunch of other incredible parents
You would love the emotional support of night weaning with a group of parents all going through the same process at the same time
If you're wanting to wean :
Purely to improve sleep
Because of outside pressures
To get a guaranteed result at the end of the four weeks
And you're not in a space to:
Navigate some tricky and more disrupted nights
Support and validate the rainbow of emotions that comes with moving away from feeds
Then this group coaching is likely not going to be the best fit for you.
This is totally your ball game! Weaning is essentially centred around boundaries, and the foundations are all the same whether you pop in some small boundaries or go the whole way. The things you learn will carry you through to fully wean, whenever that happens!
Weaning is really similar regardless of what it is you're moving away from. We cover all the foundations, and there are dedicated sections with tools to help move away from the bottle if that's your goal.
Whilst my approach is gentle & responsive, there will likely be some big feelings because we're changing a pattern. We don't need to be afraid of tears, but rather learn to be comfortable sitting with and supporting our kids through their big feelings <3
There are no guarantees when working with individual little people who have their own temperament and sensory profile. Throughout the coaching period you may identify red flags that would benefit from investigation, choose to move at a slower pace, or fully night weaning may not align with your goals. What you will walk away with are the foundations, knowledge and confidence to keep kicking your weaning goals
The community is there for all members to connect and trouble shoot together. I'll pop in once a day (M-F) to see if I can offer support in the general comments, and respond to any questions I'm tagged in!
And frankly, the end of our feeding journeys don’t generally get the care and respect they deserve.
Night Weaning Group Coaching not only covers the how, but also the sleep and emotional considerations that come into play, making weaning as smooth as possible while still respecting your attachment relationship.
And of course, the individualised support and community are unmatched!
'It was amazing having support and a little extra push to get the ball rolling with weaning after contemplating it for so long and now here we are fully night weaned in a little over 5 weeks, never could have imagined!'
'We felt equipped to meet our goals thanks to the content and support offered in the group coaching course. Bedtime feels so positive now, and we feel like we have made changes in a truly gentle, responsive and respectful way. THANK YOU!'
'I cannot fault this service that Hannah put together. I liked having the structure of knowing what to do in the first few weeks and having the reflection sheets to look back on and see how far we had come each week. Also, i liked having a group to be able to ask questions or advice in or sometimes just have a vent and know that there was solidarity in some struggles we were having'.
'Before group coaching we were feeding to sleep and feeding to get back to sleep at every wake throughout the night (on average 3-5 times). After group coaching, we can lay down next to our son while he falls asleep and when he wakes (on average 1-3 times) we can cuddle him back to sleep.'
